Head Coach Kevin Rogers

Coach Rogers is a true Texas native.  After growing up in Texas and graduating from Garland High School he attended Sam Houston University where he received his degree in Kinesiology.  He has been a teacher/coach for the last 15 years in the Richardson ISD and is in his 5th year at LV Berkner High School.  Four years ago he accepted the position of Head Coach for the Berkner wrestling team - a title he carries with pride.  In that short time he has sent 2 wrestlers to Regionals and has developed the program from 6 wrestlers to where it is today with over 40 wrestlers on the roster.   In addition to being the head coach for wrestling he also is the Defensive End coach for the football team and sponsor of the Berkner Ramblers.

In addition to the wrestling program growing so has his family.  Kevin and his wife Robyn (arguably the loudest Ram wrestling fan) have 3 daughters  -  Madie, Kenzie & Andi and in 2010 added a future Berkner wrestler to the mix ... his son Kael.  When he's not busy coaching he loves watching and supporting his daughters in their sports and in his spare time loves to hunt & fish.
